BOSTIK 1400
Description
Bostik 1400 is a high performance neoprenic based adhesive. It can be stored up to 12 months from the shipping date if stored in the origina package away from heat sources in fresh and dry places.
Applications
Bostik 1400 is ideal for attaching panels on walls and ceilings, and also on absorbing surfaces. It is recommended to thoroughly clean the area where the product will be applied; the surface must be free of dust, grease, silicone, oil, moisture, etc. The surface must not be colder than the room. Pay careful attention to painted surfaces because the solvents contained in the adhesive may dissolve the paint. Stir the glue prior using and apply the adhesive both on Mappy Italia’s product and on the surface where the product will be applied; do not use more than 150 g/m2 per side. If the product weights less than 1 kg\m2 it is not necessary to cover the whole surface with glue, it can be spread along the perimeter and on the surface in stripes every 30 cm with an average consumption of 80 g/m2. Allow about 15 to 20 minutes for the solvents to evaporate. Lay the material down gradually over the surface and apply an even pressure across directly with the hands or with a roller. Bonding takes place immediately, the material cannot be moved. Maximum bond strength is achieved within ~ 48 hours. Data contained in this document is general and given only as guidance.
